Technology Lead

Infosys Brazil is looking for professionals with a Senior DevOps / DataOps Engineer | Databricks profile to join our team.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps or DataOps and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including deployment, rollback, and release-versioning strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, pull requests, code review, and branch protection.
• Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles, Databricks CLI, and Databricks Repos.
• Advanced Python knowledge, including project modularization and library packaging.
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing using pytest or equivalent tools.
• Experience with Terraform, preferably using the Databricks provider.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure services applied to data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with legacy data warehouse migration to Lakehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of Databricks administration, including workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, and compute policies.
• Experience with Unity Catalog, RBAC, secrets management, environment segregation, and audit requirements.
• Solid SQL knowledge for pipeline validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Knowledge of artifact registries and automated quality gates.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines for Databricks environments.
• Automate the deployment of platform artifacts across development, testing, and production environments.
• Create reusable deployment templates using Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform.
• Define branching, code review, versioning, and release standards.
• Implement automated tests, static analysis, linting, and code coverage controls.
• Automate governance controls using Unity Catalog and platform policies.
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions.
